Project Manager

Mobile Discovery™, an innovator in the world of mobile marketing, seeks a talented project manager to manage new product trials. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor and join a dynamic team of exceptional people.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a (SaaS) product implementation at a customer site, solicit customer feedback, report software bugs, and pass these back to the engineering department for subsequent build / release cycles
• Manage budgets, timelines and clients people with no direct reporting authority
• Identifying and investigating problems concerned with the product, the implementation, client needs and/or the overall process
• Assembling and analyzing data, formulating recommendations for action, agreeing on a course of action with the client and ensuring the client receives the assistance needed for implementation
• Provide training and ongoing support for clients
• Work in a high-paced, challenging, quite often stressful start-up environment with high expectations and other similarly motivated people

Requirements:

• Must have a combination of business and technical understanding
• B.A. or B.S. in Technical discipline or relevant field preferred
• Must understand the basics of internet computing architecture and mobile networks
• Must have a minimum of 3 years work experience
• Ideal experience includes consulting and/or experience managing new product trials and new product launch
• Must have client facing experience and the ability to manage client expectations
• Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines consistently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High energy, creativity, resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation and written communication skills
• Strong ability to convey technical information to non-technical customers
• Strong collaboration skills; ability to lead and foster effective teams
• Goal oriented, coupled with strong organizational skills
• Ability to do product demonstrations
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Travel: 30%
