Mobile Web Site/Mobile Content Developer

Mobile Discovery™, an innovator in the world of mobile marketing, seeks a talented and ambitious mobile content developer.  This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor and join a dynamic team of exceptional people.

Responsibilities:

This candidate will be responsible for developing compelling mobile web sites for publishers and advertisers using our content creation and publishing platform.  The developer will work closely with designers, solution architects, and engineers to create a compelling experience for the customer.  He or she should be familiar with techniques for creating usable interactive web pages and able to create a similar experience on mobile devices.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Design and develop visually compelling and intuitive mobile web content
• Create a compelling look for the web sites
• Construct interactive web pages using our publishing platform and related tools
• Organize input and feedback from multiple stakeholders to improve usability and functionality

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a mobile web developer
• Expert with HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and template development
• Knowledge of XML and XSLT is a plus
• Prior experience with WAP sites and XHTML is a big plus
• UI and visual design experience a major plus
• Familiarity with Java and JSP is a plus
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing startup environment
